@reaver, Your GMRS radio will reach just as far if not further than my HT… @Luinil Explorations if you have APRS capabilities I will be able to send you a text when we get close.
That didn’t tell me if you have HF capabilities or not… this makes a difference to me so I know if I need to pack my SHTF coms box or not… usually @St0ll3n brings his coms trailer, but he isn’t coming this year.
Dave, on the map are you looking at the event tab or planning tab. You need to be on the planning tab inorder to crate a POI or add a GPX file. As far as Expedition Tier… I don’t know… @Michael???
@barnstormers fallow the screenshots below in order after opening OB1 to the map tab.
Start by clicking the plus at the lower right hand corner.
Next select add location
Location Type needs to be a off-road trail
Upload GPX Track… on the next screen not pictures you have the option to...

Your radio only does analog repeaters and DStar. Yasue System Fusion , p25, DMR, all need to be set up with the appropriate talk group and node…. Which your radio doesn’t support. For DSTAR, you need to go register your call sign and make sure you actually have DSTAR repeaters in the area...
