I'm working my way back from Chesapeake, hoping to make it in time!

Trucks should have no problem, I have done section 2 and 3 in my truck and on my bike with no issue.

Another option could be Beamers downtown Roanoke. Good burgers and beverages, and there is the huge parking lot on Salem Ave in front of the transportation museum.

I like that idea. Being home for 48 hours or less to switch out gear bags, do laundry and check mail is starting to catch up with me. Time for some R&R.
