Summer Trip Planning: ORBDR or WABDR

What areas were the most problems in? I want to do the chunk that was posted elsewhere, which is a small stretch south of Ellensburg. Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

Cleaning (and protecting) an emblem on a rig

I have some clear plasti-dip I think I'll spray mine, since I just put it on, then I can still see my number. Good ideas! Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

    GPS/Tablet

That's a good idea, I have the cb mount bracket at the left end of the grab bar, but putting a second section or longer section to get around that may work too, while keeping out of the passengers face should the airbag deploy. Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

    GPS/Tablet

I just downloaded Hema and have been getting used to it on my Nexus 9, I'm not prepared to pay a subscription to anyone since I have e perfectly good paper maps and navigation built in to my Rubicon. I put the "stand" RAM mount the bolts to the seat, but I like the rugged ridge idea above...

    Quickfist mounts

I bought an interior hi-lift mount for my JK from dominion offroad, I also got an accessory that basically adds a couple quick fists, I have had issues getting them snug enough, my gransfors bruks axe won't fit well because the handle is curved, and my shovel has managed to move enough to start...

Summer Trip Planning: ORBDR or WABDR

I'm glad you posted this, I'm thinking of doing the WA route in that same time frame with a bunch of my friends from Spokane and Tri-Cities. I'm pretty new so I don't even know what question I might forget to ask! Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

OB Pacific Northwest Trail Run - 2017 Edition

I have a discover pass, but I've never needed a forest pass. I may end up getting one. Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

OB Pacific Northwest Trail Run - 2017 Edition

I definitely "MAYBE" want to go. I'll see if I have my rig ready we the time gets closer. What kinds of fees or passes would I need to take care of? I spend most of my time in NE Washington so I don't usually have to worry about fees. Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

How do you handle your propane needs?

There was a time here when they switched to the automatic cut off for filling tanks and you had to exchange the old ones, but we can still fill in WA. I can't see why it would be illegal unless you have a bottle that doesn't meet new specs. But I don't know about you east of the Rockies people...

    WTB: RTT

Have you called CVT to see if they have any demos or "floor models", occasionally they sell them. Posted via mobile. OB# 3459

    Camp stoves

I'm new to overland, so I can't suggest a good stove other than what I usually use camping. I would suggest thinking about when and where you would use it. Propane will not work as well in cold temperatures, I have "white gas" for backpacking and a dual fuel Colman for car camping. I will...

Hi everyone! My name is Josh. I live in the Inland Northwest, I just purchased my 2013 JKUR a couple weeks ago, but I've been lurking on the fringes for a while. My CVT RTT has been on my 2WD pickup and I decided it was time to get a proper rig for it. I've been "outdooring" for years, but...
