Are you a HAM? We could potentially hook up along the trail somewhere. I have tons of maps for Baja if you’re interested. It’s getting really hot now so advise the weather if heading down.

Leaving SoCal June 25th - headed to the Grand Canyon North Rim. Camping & wheeling around for a few days then headed back. We have to work on July 1st.

Doing a similar trip but we can’t leave until June 25th. Headed to the North Rim for a few days and then back. Baja is awesome, you should go!

Hi- Checking to see if there are any changes of opinion of this thread. I'm required to get chains to run here in Ca and headed to Colorado next month. I've never used cables but am curious. I'm running 33" Nitto grapplers. Thanks for any comments on what to get or if chains vs. cables is better.

I just did that run in December. Couldn't make it over the pass due to ice then on the way back to the crater on Racetrack I hit a boulder with my LCA. I'm still recovering from the crash. Headed to the body shop this week to rehang the driver door. Go slow on this road!
