I dropped mine off at The Rear End Shop today to get the rear locking diff rebuilt. They thought it was going to be like a defender when I called him. He looked a little shocked to hear it had airbags. We'll see how it goes.

Sorry. My wife said I could go but work said no. I just got called in. Oh well maybe the extra money could go towards a new front bumper. Hopefully we can do another day soon.

No they just meet up and talk. One thing I find about most Land Rover owners is they love their Rovers but appreciate other makes. I don't know where the next meet up is but if you want you may be able to look at our calendar...
My Land Rover club meets up at a restaurant somewhere on the peninsula on the third Thursday of the month.
I live in Concord if you're ever out this direction. Mike (OB 0000) wants to start something since he's in Pleasanton.
I've used the smitty built ones in the snow and they didn't work and got winched out. On another trip I used maxtrax in the snow and got out. My money is on maxtrax
