Been super busy the last few weeks between work and installing the monster lift! Getting tires and rims soon!
At the SubieFish booth at Bay Area Subaru Meet 2018!
SubieFish 5.5" subframe and strut lift with rear Tacoma strut conversion
6.5"-7" travel, 4" down at all 4 corners (2.5" up travel...
I saw you had a tire valve core remover, but no spare valve cores, definitely a good cheap item to carry! I would also carry a decent basic Multimeter. I can highly recommend a Fluke 101, around $50US on ebay.
Great kit!
I am a member of the Bay Area Chapter, but because we have sooo many chapters here in Cali, I also watch Gold Country, Sacramento, Fresno, Jefferson State, etc. All of the chapters Im willing to drive to for fun!
We dont have the gearing options to overcome lower HP/torque, like other platforms. Unsprung weight can really put a strain on suspension, so a little can save alot. Also wheel/tire weight is centrifugal mass, less weight = less braking requirements & wear.
Well said! Many people are perfectly happy just buying from a catalog and letting someone else turn the wrench.... It sure can be easier and less headaches, but "rubber stamped"!
Welcome, nice color!
I believe there are several companies doing lifts for these. LP Adventure is even being installed by the dealers in some areas, financed and possibly not voiding warranty!
Welcome Tanner! Looks like you have a great start on your Foz! Glad to see more and more Subarus on here, everyday! Check out the Subaru Owners Registry (link in my signature) and look up Mountain Roo (Mtn Roo) on FB & IG!
Went to the NorCal SubieWerks meet in Oakland yesterday. Out of 60-80 Subarus, there were probably a dozen of us from the Mountain Roo groups, going the dirt route, here are pics of a few...
Welcome!
12V tech??? Is that anything like Sound and Communications work (Fire/Life Safety, Network, Security, Cameras, etc)? I'm IBEW Local 595 Sound and Comm, here in Oakland & Alameda County.
Looks like great place and your rig looks great too!
If you are going for the Wilco swing gate, you might consider a custom. Those go for ~$600 and that's just too much in my opinion for the product. My area you can find custom bumper guys doing stuff via Craigslist, starting about $600.
