I went through all this when I was looking for a battery for my teardrop build. I was trying hard to talk myself into LiFePO and could make the numbers work. I went with a Vmax AGM. AGM's can take a bigger discharge (80%) than lead acid can (50%) before damage. The battery I got can take 600...
We have a 120,000 acre wildfire that has been burning for 3 weeks now out my back door, all because someone was careless. We were camping up on the rim a few weeks ago and a ranger stopped to talk to us about out teardrop. We talked for awhile, he said he was trying to get a 30-40 gallon water...
Thanks for the tips I did get on the FCC site today and got this squared away. I wish dealing with Adobe chat was as easy and the FCC website. :rage:

Most ski resorts have mountain biking, take the chair lift up and ride down. I like Winter Park for biking, Vail wasn't that great. St Elmo is fun, but the last time we did Tin Cup in was real rocky and slow and lots of side by sides. But great views. We also like going to the Great Sand Dunes...
We got the CL56D. I think the price was around $100 off. I don’t remember for sure. With the free shipping. And it saved us from going to Expo, I’m not a fan of big crowds.

We will meet at 6:30 if you are coming to eat, then will move out to the parking lot for awhile. You are welcome to come at 6:30 even if you are...
We have a Snomaster 56 liter Fridge/freezer and love it. Yes it was pricy but it makes my wife happy and that is a good thing. I called Snomaster and asked if there would be any specials for Overland West and I was planning on picking one up there. He gave me the show price with free shipping...
This was the view from my house Friday night, the wildfire was at 13,000 acres then, it is now over 40,000 with 6% contained. We are going all propane, I lived my whole life in the midwest and never had fire bans. Now out here, 3-6 months of the year there is a fire ban. Like you said, I don't...
The smoke was bad at my house last night from this fire. I hope they get a handle on it soon.
A few weeks ago we were looking for camp spots off of 288 and came across two fires people left. We used 2/3 of our water putting out other people’s fires. After seeing that I’m all for burn restrictions.
We are really enjoying the teardrop. The Jeep has been having some problems, cam and lifters 5 weeks ago, and now at the dealer getting left side head replaced. Luckily all under warranty. I hope this takes care of the problem.
Don't do as I did. I was working on a few other things while signing up, jumping between a few open tabs. I have no clue where I am in the process now. I need to start over but I'm all ready in the system but can't find myself in the system if that makes any sense. I might need to call.

I have a work provided Verizon Jet Pack hotspot that works surprisingly well out here in the west. It was spotty at best in the Chicago area. We have been surprised by how many nights we have been able to listen to Pandora while camping this year. Better than 85% of the nights.

We learned the hard way about condensation in our teardrop. It was only 29 degrees that night and we woke up soaking wet, the walls and windows were dripping . I opened the roof vent and one window about 1” then put the fan on speed 3. Within a hour everything was mostly dry. The moisture comes...
We will setup another for next month. I'll try to get it posted a little earlier next month.
The third Thursday of the month there is a meet and great in Tucson. It is on the north side of town off of I10 on Ina.
