Both. Take the trail all the way down once pass the sign for primitive camping. There are sites off too the left (East) but the did not have as much room as the one further south to the left. There is a boat ramp down there as saw guy last weekend unloading his fishing boat. Saw fish jumping in...
This is in Quachita National Forest. If you type Holly Creek Campsite" in Google Maps, Ways, or Gaya ..that will get you to the peninsula where primitive camping is. We went to Southwest end, all the way down. There is more room there. GPS coordinates 34.27952, -94.68742.
Yes, just treat it like rough farm roads, a couple wash boards, if going to deflate, 25 should be fine as lowest setting, there are a couple more difficult trails if people want to try them but hardest we did had to lick up once for steep hill but not that bad
Friday, Sept 25th - Sunday, Sept 27th. Many coming at different times so check out the Rally Point- location tab for GPS coordinates of Holly Creek campgrounds at Broken Bow :)
Yes, trails pretty easy...like old farm roads with small rocks...feels like driving over cattle rails..at least 6-7 inch clearance. A couple of trails with spots that had washout spots but should be fine.
Ok everyone, the new rally point for August has been set up. Captain and Hook graciously hosting the DFW Meet and Greet for August 9th. Check out that Rally point for address :)
