The set I ordered and installed on my 2012 Xterra Pro-4x fit just fine. I can tell you that what is lacking is a thorough step by step installation manual. I just followed the install video for my model, and everything lined up perfectly. The only installation step I added was to use super glue...
Try putting your iPad in "Airplane Mode" by swiping down from the top-right corner, then re-enable just your bluetooth by pressing the greyed out bluetooth button. This will insure that you area only connected to your inReach for GPS comms.
I got a brand new set that is just sitting in my garage collecting dust.... If anyone is in the market for a pair, make me an offer... I'm in the LA area 91214
Yeah, I've looked into to Sportsmobile vans that were custom factory made, and although very nice, were just way out of our price range. I wish I had time for a DIY van project, but I just don't. However, I have ran into a few decent deals on used SM rigs in the past, so used might make for...
Not going to make any big purchase decisions till tax time. So, I have plenty of time to find a rig that is better suited for the needs of my family. The Tundra CrewMax is definitely high on my list, but I am still open to most larger platforms.
Yeah, i've looked a few of those to. They are nice, but not much can come close to the space and comfort of the CrewMax, especially for passengers in the backseat. The RAM truck is a beast, no doubt about that! :)
DITTO! A huge safety benefit is that the InReach also gives you access to two-way coms with emergency services via GEOS Iridium Satelite System when you out of cell service off grid.
Just got an email notification this morning... get'em while their hot!
I just purchased an OZTent Eyre-2 recently, but I really liked Michael's video on the smaller Gazelle T4, so I started looking into them at some point and had registered on their site to receive their newsletters/sale...
Yep, that is a huge truck you got there. I am only referring to the 2012 Tundra CrewMax version and up, since that is the only one I have had any personal experience with. It was no dualie, but it the added comforts of having 4 Doors and the amazing large backseats (that actually reclined), made...
We switched to Kelty low chairs about a year ago, and we love them! :)
Durable, comfortable (especially the low-love chair). And if you position yourself right, you can even lay across it like a couch.

I think you meant to say "Tacoma", and not "Tundra"... Tundra's are huge. Yeah, I have actually consider the two rec vehicle option as well. Honestly, there are so many ways to go with making a family rig solution... I'm just looking for the one the that works best for us. Hopefully we'll be...
Yah, before going with our current setup, I strongly considered a Tacoma w/shell, roof rack including RTT setup. Now thinking back on it, if I would have went the Taco route, maybe I wouldn't be even considering a full size again now... who knows.... And I agree with you regarding full size and...
