Plans have changed for me so I’ll have to pass on this trip. Have fun everyone. Here’s a tip for everyone. Buy gas at Stove Pip Wells, it’s cheaper then Furnace Creek and Panamint Spring.

Best way to mount Samsung tab a8 to a 06 Jeep tj

I don’t have a Jeep, but I do use a RAM Mount for my Samsung Tab E and it’s solid as a rock. Do a Hard Mount if you can so the tablet doesn’t move around on you.

Pisgah Lava Tubes off Route 66, CA

Thanks for posting this request. Now I have a new location to check out next time I go down to the Mojave. I found this information. The link “this amazing map” in the article has GPS locations of caves. Hope this helps...

On the last day in DV I decided to do a day trip to Gold Valley Road. It’s an easy trail for a stock 4wd vehicle. There’s a campsite about 100 yards from the spring and a few side roads to some mines but I didn’t have time to explore those roads. Broken down Abandoned car on the trail.

Another Death Valley Trip late April 2019. The temperature was getting a bit hot on some days so I based camped at Panamint Springs Camp ground. The temperature was way cooler there then in the Valley. The Original Tea Kettle Junction sign.

What days are you planning on being at DV. Would it be, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday? Off the top of my head, I recommend going to the Racetrack, town of Rhyolite then Titus canyon road, Cotton wood canyon then to Marble canyon for a short hike to the narrows ( if you like hiking)

    MSR Dromedary bag...10-years on.

I have 3 dromedary bags. A 10L, 6L and 4L. The 10L I’ve had for almost 23 years and it’s the thick Black type. The 10L also has a shower kit which isn’t the greatest but it’s better then nothing. The 6L and 4L bags are a bit newer and lighter. I still take the 10L with me on my overland trips...
