Check out Right Line Gear. I bought the duffel bag last year. It kept my gear dry in the rain and 1” of snow. They also make duffel bags. Pro: packable, rain and snow proof. Con: Price. The side pocket zipper sucks (still works). Two Velcro square pieces came off and needs to be re-glued.

The road condition was good. Passed a Subaru on my way out and their was another Subaru at the lake. Their are a few technical spots for stock vehicles, but you shouldn’t have any problems on a lifted vehicle.

Been using a Plano Tackle Stowaways with Adjustable Dividers for my kitchen utensils/accessories. Works pretty good for what I have.

Their was a lot of other vehicles. I camped at the south side of the lake and two rangers told me that this area was closed until further notice due to heavy impact. It looks like their was a Barrier to keep vehicles out, but someone moved it. The Rangers gave me 24 hours to move, so I just...

My plan was to go to Death Valley but the latest snow storm knocked out the power in some spots and the snow level was reported to be 3’ in the higher elevation. so instead I decided to head over to Trona Pinnacles for the night. Dec 2019
