    If not Birds hill we could try La Barrier Park off of waverly along the La Salle river, super nice spot. or Beaudry park west of headingly. I do vote for a Saturday after noon rather than a weekday evening. I've also been interested in checking out the Transcona BioReserve off of Gunn Rd.

    Very interesting fire set up...I'd love to see a closer photo. I'm not sure if you know or not but in Manitoba you can make a fire on the ground from November until May. During the summer months you fire MUST be in a contained receptacle. I built mine out of a stainless steel sink. I added legs...
