Ok, I just got one of these, and it’s made cleaning up so much easier. I’ve been using cast iron for years and had never heard of these till now. Thanks for the tip!
I've just had a hodgepodge of tools, at home, that came out of the same box or drawer. I just bought my new truck and working on putting together a solid kit to take on the trips. as I've gotten a bit older, I've learned "I can't afford cheap stuff". Ebay, mscdirect, Amazon, ToolBarn have become...
I've always been more impressed when stock vehicles go through areas where others say heavy mods are needed. To me, heavy mods are a handicap for poor driving. Also stock varies quite a bit. I'm sure my stock Gladiator can go more places then my stock 1st gen Tacoma. That said, my Tacoma took me...
The Sport S is a good deal if you have the time, space, know how, connections, etc to build it up. Keep in mind, you lose towing capacity/payload as you add weight building it up. The Rubicon is really nice and pretty ready out of the box, that’s why I went that route. Dealership down there...
Not much of a Rye guy, but I do like me some Bourbon camping or otherwise.
Bulliett, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses Small Batch, and Wild Turkey 101 Never disappoints.
I know for me, climbing in and out of an RTT could be difficult. was mountain-biking this last weekend and took a good spill. both my knees got a bit scuffed up with a small but deep divet on one of them. I know I would have had trouble climbing up the ladder to get into a RTT. It hurt just to...

Either way it was good to go to somewhere new. Probably been 25 years since I was last in HMB. Hopefully I’ll get right the next time.
You can get to campsites on any high clearance stock vehicle. The other roads I’ve been on I would say were easy/moderate. I only have a stock 1st gen Tacoma 4x4, and never had a problem. What you see in my profile pic is what I got.
It’s a great place. I’ll be there the end of August. There are also some good roads to explore in the area. And if you Mountain-bike, there is awesome riding around there too.
