I know a few of you guys out there attended the Mordor trips with me. I am sad to report the trail boss of those trips, Randy Phillips, has passed away earlier this week.

The Mordor trips are usually planned around South Central Idaho. Although not my trips I do attend and run some trail rides for each day that I am there. I usually post up those trips on this thread.
I do have a trip in the works for North West Utah for next spring. That would be the closest...
I have driven this road from both ends, but I don't know what the middle might have instore for us, about 2 miles. There are some short rocky sections of road that can be technical. We will be driving out on the road we discussed earlier that I sent you pictures of.
I have been down the last few weeks with Covid so now that I feel better and the Jeep is back together it is time to plan a trip. Loosing 5 weeks to illness I had to cancel 3 trips which really sucked for content so I figured I would make one more adventure before the holiday season hits.

I will return to the Midas Touch Trip that I did earlier this year. I lost a axle early on day two so we really only scratched the surface of that trip. That will be a 4-5 day trip. I have another 4-5 day trip into Norther Utah were we will explore some old mines and be in a pretty remote area...
I almost sold this one 7 years ago. Glad I did not. I just have not driven a vehicle off road that I enjoy driving as much as this old beast. Don't get good fuel economy, but hey, I don't have a car payment either and that buys a lot of gas and fun parts.
