It seems like, if you're constantly running trails that cause you to hit bottom, then steel makes a ton (pun intended ;-) of sense. But if you spend more time in sand & mud, the weight is not your friend. If you keep your tires on the big obstacles, your sliders will take the brunt. I'm leaning...

Collectively, we have so much talent in the OB Membership. If there's interest, we should organize a 4x4 workshop/bootcamp occasionally, in each region.

This is for a long term camp (a month or more). RTT is out, because I don't want to break down camp to go exploring. If I did a trailer, it would be a very well insulated version of this... but it's pretty cramped in there.

Copy that. It looks like it might not handle a snow load very well either, but I like that it's insulated, and the silver on the inside will reflect your heat back at you.
