I already have that same harbor freight motorcycle carrier LOL. The only problem is having to put my spare on the roof, and re-locate my Rotopax and propane tank. Then there's the issue of having to unload the bike to get the hatch open. Not ideal. Weren't you the one that told me about the Grom?

Watched @O.Dfj 's rope in action, and decided it was a must-have piece of kit. Soooo much more effective than a tow strap. 1"x 30' with a 31,500lb capacity.

Kayaks are way more fun, but I like the cargo capacity of a canoe. Working out a roof rack system that won't interfere too much with my current setup. #Overwater Bound ;-)

Besides being expensive, and adding more weight up top, sometimes "next to the rig" is not the best place (view) to hang out. I'm thinking about alternatives to the typical vehicle awning (a place to get out of the sun, and rain). What do you think of this?... The dark panel is removable, or...

Can you post a photo of what you're talking about? I can't find the stubby offset combination wrenches. You did mean deep offset, right? Like this...

Apparently, there are multiple ways to remove an air locker ;-)... The retaining pin had sheared off, and since the locker needed to be replaced anyway (spider gears were trashed), the fastest way to remove the pin was to cut a channel in the locker case. I got 20 years service out of that...

If you had very little space, and wanted to keep weight to a minimum, but needed more than a couple of Crescent Wrenches, which style would you choose?

There's a small gear at the Transmission end of the speedometer cable. You can change that gear to correct your speedometer.

LOL. No worries! Good news for me, because I had just ordered 8 mounting pins :-)

I talk to him, and took that photo, the Tuesday before Overland Expo. Maybe @Felipe Reyes can chime in here, and give us some insight.

@Felipe Reyes is the guy I met... He didn't mention any noise. I'm hoping the deflector on the front of my hood will help.
