    4Runner Drawer System (w/Wolf Packs)

Looks very useful! My only suggestion is to cut weight wherever possible without sacrificing strength. Cutting holes is a great idea.

Does Overlanding Require You to Go Off Pavement?

Your question can be answered very simply; No, unless you want to. You do you, I'll do me, they can do them. :grinning:

I forgot to turn my radio on after a stop. The trail leader told us to NOT follow him, take the bypass. Needless to say, I didn't hear him. :anguished:

I leaned the 4Runner against a rock ledge in southern Utah. Then proceeded to get a $300 speeding ticket in Colorado. :dizzy:

    Solar Panel question

We've been using the Bugout 120 from Overland Solar for a few years and are really happy with it. Our advice, according to your needs you stated in your original post; definitely get a portable, solid or foldable, and a long cord. You said you need to help keep your battery topped off when...

CTEK or REDARC for dual battery charge control

We use the Ctek (without the Smartpass) in our FJ, and the Redarc 1225 in our 4Runner. Both perform the same, either would do fine for you. With a DC-DC charger, having different type batteries makes no difference at all. One thing to keep in mind, Lithium won't like the heat under the hood...

The Smallest Overland Rigs? Could be!

Those things are AWESOME! When we were in Japan they were all over the place, used for everything from grocery getters to cement trucks. I'm not sure I'd want to try to keep up with freeway traffic with one but...they're certainly small and light!

The Smallest Overland Rigs? Could be!

Thanks for all the great advice on staying safe will riding! Believe me, WE NEED IT! We chose to use tiny ATVs simply for the challenge of it all. LOL Simply a fun diversion from all our other "overlanding" projects. Also, we didn't want to make too large of an investment into this. The ATV's...

The Smallest Overland Rigs? Could be!

We'll of course abide by all laws, and follow all regulations concerning operating an ATV on all roads, trails, and other surfaces. Why do you ask?

The Smallest Overland Rigs? Could be!

We started a new project, Mini ATV Overland Build, on a crazy low budget! What do you think, any advice?

Gear for starting out? (Check my list!)

You're just starting out? My advice is to just throw your camping gear in the back and head out. All you need off your list to get started is a simple first-aid kit and the fire extinguisher mounted as close to arm's reach from the driver's seat. The only addition would be a current Motor...
