Just catching up on basic maintenance, saving up for new tires and getting the WJ ready for the spring. Winter is beating up on my fenders so those will be one of the first things to get done.

Thanks for the replies, I've been debating whether to go with OME or Dobisons. Then I came across IRO, and their builds seem really solid. I'm not looking for a rock crawler or anything wild, just trying to build an all around comfortable and reliable ride.

Are the RE lift kits still a viable option? I know they were reliable some time ago but then I've heard complaints over quality a few years ago. Has anyone used them recently or can comment on their long term durability?

I just picked up my first WJ. It'll be nice to follow yours as you work on it.

The XJ is a great platform, I've owned one myself. It had a 5speed, bb lift, and BFG MT tires. Should have never sold it haha. The 4.0 is a solid engine and there are plenty of options to work with. It does tend to leak a little bit so keep that in mind when checking seals, but that's with any...
