Angeles National Forest to Alabama Hills 2/18/17

Thank you @bacon_taste and @fj80toyman for the info! Loving the outdoor activities offered here out west. We were outdoorsy back home in Florida as well but, the sheer size and number of places to go is far greater here. I'm seeing that dispersed camping is available both places we are wanting...

Angeles National Forest to Alabama Hills 2/18/17

We are trying to plan an impromptu trip down to southern California and I am in need of some advice on some good places to camp. We are heading down to Agoura Hills, CA on 2/17/17 to have the folks at Front Runner Outfitters repair a leak with our roof rack. We are trying to find a good spot to...

That sounds like a pretty cool trip @John Galt. Thanks for the invite! No problem with the family friendly part! Just a few questions on the trip. 1. What are your club requirements for must have gear? (Radio, winch, etc...) 2. Whats the difficulty of this trip? (I'm lifted with 33's and front...

Awesome rig @Harpblower! Did you regear for the 37's? If not, how does it feel and what are the pros and cons in your experience? My 33" duratracs will need replacement in the next year or so and I'm debating between 35's or 37's. I know 4 low shouldn't be a problem given the Rubicons center...

Does anyone else read through the introductions and hear, "Hello my name is ______, and I have an overlanding problem..." and then we say "Welcome ______, we are here for you....". Or is it just me? lol

What was your first vehicle you took exploring.

I'll play! This is my first "overland-ish" rig. Bought it in 2009 and sold it in 2015. She had almost 300k on the odo. and was absolutely flawless. I miss my 3rd gen....:disrelieved:

    Camp Photos!

Loving all the base camp photos! Making me itch to get out to the middle of nowhere and see some of this beautiful country. Here is a shot from our first time out a few weeks ago. We stayed at a state park for our first time out just to get the feel for setup and to "weather in" the new RTT.

Thank you so much. We have been tempted several times to go with a 4 door but, we fell in love with our 2 door. We are currently in Eureka, CA and have been exploring the surrounding areas. We've been out to Redding, Tahoe, Shasta, Eugene and Bend, OR etc... Looking to find a group...

    Mountain biking

Great bikes guys! I was into riding dirt jump bikes when I lived in Florida. It was a fun sport to do when it was too cold to wakeboard. :-) Now that we have moved out west, I got back into mountain bikes and quickly realized that this elevation change thing is a totally different animal! lol...

Looking for camping suggestions in southern Oregon.

Hello everyone! We are new to the PNW and we are looking for some good camping spots in the Bend/Southern Oregon area that we can take a small group to using our roof top tent. We are looking to find a remote campground style area that would offer great hiking/biking nearby and possibly...
