Blue Ridge Overland Gear rear tire system

Im in the same boat, I have a full size spare under my truck because I am in the camp of keeping the weight low and I have the clearance to where a tire swingout isnt necessary. I love the trasharoo and those types of bags but dont really have a way to mount them. Ill figure something out...

    Propane Distribution

Horizontal propane tanks are pretty big money for the tank and would eliminate any cost savings that it brings. A cheaper $200 tank would be about 75 of the little 1 pound guys. And I agree with WillyGoat, all his comments are great

    Propane Distribution

I cant find it, I tried. It may have been some heresay but seemed to be sensible to me. Dont want someone getting into a fender bender with me and igniting a LP tank, its why a lot of guys have them mounted really high. The older NFPA code is pretty clear about mounting LP containers to the...

    Sleeping Gear

If I am near my truck then I am car camping in the RTT. Inside of it is a bunch of sheets/blankets/pillows - its super glamorous. If I am backpacking then it is the small tent if its less than 4 days, over 4 days I go with the hammock. Otherwise the hammock is just used for the routine catnap.

    Topper Shell or Bed Rack

Topper shell for me too. They range so wildly its really up to what you need that drives the cost. My last truck had a LEER fiberglass shell and it was fine, although I didnt like the sliding windows. My new rig has an aluminum ARE canopy, I love this one as it has three access "windoors" and...

If you could change/re-do one modification

I learned that lesson the hard way as well, got sliders on the truck now and had them made to be a little wider so they could do double duty as sliders and steps.

    Hauling wood

I put a basket on the roof rack pretty much for this purpose. Before I had a bin I made and kept filled with firewood at all times, I hated how much room it took up in the bed.
