Have you been on the
Have you done black bear pass yet? If so was it in the vehicle in your profile. I’m wondering because I drive a tundra. Looking at the tight turns and wondering about the level of difficulty with the turning radius I have. Im assuming it’s doable in s full size truck
Sweet, pulled in the driveway after work and noticed a good size puddle under the tundra. Looks like the transfer case has sprung a good leak... guess it’s better to find it now than out on the trail. Good thing it’s still under warranty
I have heard it’s not too bad. But no first hand knowledge of it. I will find out in July, I think the biggest issue was snow. Can’t see that being an issue in July though.
In my experience building my tundra, research!! Take your time and make sure it’s the right product for you and the application you are going for. It will save you a lot of money and headaches. If I had it to do over I would have worked out the bed rack or GFC as well as bed storage and bumpers...
I'm hitting the TAT first part of July. Hoping to take it all the way to the Oregon coast from NC before my vacation runs out. Looking for some cool places to hit on the way through if you know of any. Also, anyone want to join in all are welcome to tag along.
ABC typically is all you need. The K is mainly used for commercial kitchen type fires. Heavy grease, fats and oils. So unless your packing around a commercial grade kitchen in the back of your truck I’d say your probably good with an ABC. But if you are packing around a commercial grade...
All, good. New maxtrax on the way. Along with a few extra items i found i could have used this morning. Its always good to help out regardless of the cost, Found i was lacking a few items for these situations so lesson learned, it also allowed me buy new stuff! And anytime a gear...
Bummed out today, Helped a few guys get there cars out of the ditch due to the snow storm we got last night. In the process spent an hour digging through the snow trying to find my maxtrax. No luck... but on the positive side got 4 people out and on there way after being stuck in the ditch...
If you click the link I sent and scroll down you will see a yellow link for camping and off road. The app has a lot of other options it could be used for. But a lot of The overland community uses this for trails and forest service roads so on. I think once you spend a little time checking...
2 weeks and my bumpers come in from expedition one!!! Super excited for that. Got my new rear fox shocks and Deaver springs on order, warn winch has came in, new LP9’s came in yesterday. The decked bed system is installed. Almost ready for my big trip in July.
I have it on my tundra. Works pretty good. Definitely makes a difference when you turn it up. Haven’t really seen where it improves mpg though. Probably cause I always have it turned up. I just can’t get past the throttle response it gives you!
