Question: How to carry bikes on trailer

Hey yall, I'm in the planning stage of a trailer build and something I'm struggling with, is how to safely bring along 4 adult sized bikes. I'm going to build a 4x5 or 4x6 trailer with heavy duty axle and 2 foot closed box with drawers. I already have a Yakima 4 bike carrier that is very...

What did you do to your SE rig?

Nice. I had a Tundra and miss it sometimes but this 4Runner is a lot of fun. I had a Leer XR on my Tundra and almost got an ARE Z but got a good deal on the Leer. I hear ya about the wife allowing they toys! Mine has me on lockdown right now [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do to your SE rig?

I thought this might be a thread we could use to share what we have been doing with our SE rigs but also hopefully allow us to meet up and help each other out with projects. I have only been a member here a short time and have already had several people volunteer to help me with some projects...

I'm picking up a preexisting trailer that has a heavy duty axle. It's bare bones and will require quite a bit of fabricating to get it where I want. Time to polish up my weak sauce welding skills! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm in the very beginning stages of building up a trailer and mine will be multi-purpose for the family: Removable RTT, be able carry most of our camping gear and also carry 4 mountain bikes. I'm definitely going with the Smitty XL as it's almost impossible to beat for the price and tons of...

I like where this is headed! I did not get the diff drop and only looking to go up about 2 inches after my bumper install. I got a SSO hybrid with winch so that is going to add about 120lbs. I have a 2017 4Runner so she is not rusty yet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll be glad to pay you in some form or fashion!!! I just got my equipment in and got Bilstein 5100's and Dobison Coils and anxious to get it installed. I called around a few places and talked to someone who would do the install for $500. I've wrenched a bit but never messed with suspensions...

Same here Chris and I'm itching to go out as well but we attend Church every Sunday so I can't make those days. I can usually sneak out for a Saturday if anyone is interested. I took my 4runner out to our deer lease a few weeks ago and almost got it stuck and that's the most action it has seen...

Hate I missed it and glad yall had a good turnout. My wife and I just finished the Dave Ramsey financial peace series and tonight was the last meeting. It was a good series but I'm now going to feel guilty purchasing gear for my 4runner! :)

Hey guys, First post here. I just joined the forum and live down in Columbia. I've done a ton of backpacking and camping but not much off-roading in vehicles (done a bunch of dirt bike / 4-wheeler stuff though). I'm very interested in learning more and getting my two young boys out a bit so...
