I travel a lot for work, and while in San Fran last week was wondering if there are outfits that rent overlanding capable rigs near major airports?
Other than SFO; I'm in Salt Lake, Texas and AZ a lot lately.

As I've been looking for trips to plan here in the Northeast I keep seeing "Class 6" road or other number.
What does this classification mean, and is it the same and each state, or different?
I layer, and because I live in Maine, I have ll bean gear (plus I dig their life time guarantee on their stuff). Current mid later is their 850 down jacket. Plus I bring a gortex shell to put over it if super cold or I just need a rain jacket.

Digging this man - I had an 81 wagon that was the same color. It caught fire in PA and burned to the ground on the highway - fire went out several times and came back. Good job keeping it alive!
