I saw a video on Henstep Valley Trail and it looked like a lot of fun but might be tight for the full sized dodge. Also watched a video for Hill Top Trail that one look fun as well. I am hoping to get out and try both of these at some point this spring. Please report on the conditions if you...
Made it out to part of the Weiser SF near Port Clinton. Didn't find a ton of drivable dirt roads but I did find closed gates as I crossed into game lands and I found an old fire tower. Anyway it was nice to have a little dirt under the wheels.

i use one of the disbursed camp sites in Michaux SF a few time and it wasn't that busy, maybe one or two other campers. It was one of the more popular site as it had an out house and about 6 fire rings. I know that is a different Forrest district but on a whole i am not sure how may people know...
Looked over my recorded trail and I did drive Duncan Trail. Also Read through my notes on the day and it was a good but short trail. I remember that it was rocky (small rocks not rock crawling) so it was bumpy. I remember wishing o would have aired down but was still on stock tires and didn’t...
The first picture is Negro Hollow Rd the second is a different road at an overlook we stopped at. I need to look over my gpx track from that day to see where the second picture was. I will share the rout I took once I get them out of Gaia. Here is another from Negro Hollow of my friends Jeep.
I have traveled Negro Hollow Rd and it was a fun trail. It was a little tight for my 4Runner but definitely manageable. Ithaca Raines a lot the week before I traveled it so there were lots of puddles and a mud hole to get through. Didn’t have any trouble but was glad to have a friend along just...
Sounds like you are really digging deep into these two State Forrest and are getting some first hand experience out there. Keep it up and have fun while you are out there!
I have been planning a route for BESF & RothRock SF but need to connect them some how. I have traveled pert of the route and it was fun but one one or two easy technical sections. Also have a route planed for Michaux SF that I have done part of. I am usually with my son which limits my time on...
Thanks for the heads up on the group size! I also camping in the State Forrest is free but you need to do the registration for the Forrest district that you will be in. There is also a group size limit for camping as well but don't remember the exact number right now.
Hi, I don’t mind sharing the location of there camp sites. The first one is at Blue Rocks campground near Hamburg PA (camping with the family). The second is in Michaux State Forrest (A little rougher and was camping with just my son). These were two separate outings and I can give you more...
