Love it. Understand the Quik Fist but what are they attached to?! I need to know. I used Quik Fist and conduit clamps and flat stock. Just likin your set up a little better and not ashamed to say so.
Nice rig. Lookin forward to see where it goes. Have the T4R and love it. Would really like to get a Taco but pouring in about 8K the past 2 1/2 months on a brand new 4Runner was hard enough to justify with the more responsible half.
Exactly 2 weeks from now we should be in North Carolina and on our way to start our long awaited for Trans America Trail trip. Some final minor preparations on the rig this weekend and we should be all set.
Thanks to @Steve for some direction on the trip thread. Will start that this week and post the link. We leave two weeks from this Wednesday so we can start the trip thread with prep done so far that is trip specific. Would love for you all to check in.
Please pardon my ignorance. What is the best way to ask one of the mods where the most appropriate place to document the trip? I know they have a lot of work keepin up with the forum and don't want to upset anyone with having to move threads. Can't believe we have had almost 1600 views thus far...
Thank you. 10 working days left before we head out. Then the fun begins. Feel free to follow the trip on Instagram too. Although we will try to post here frequently, it may not be as updated as IG. Also, I believe we will need to start a new thread in a different section for documenting the...
Thanks for the support and checking it out. My son and I have been plannining for a few months, but yes, once we put everything into play it really has been a tight turnaround. Pretty much ready for the trip.
Just put the Toytec on mine. 3" lift and nice and leveled out. Rides like a dream. So much better and no more of that nose dive when braking. Highly recommended. Some pics on my build thread.

One more vote for the ARB single compressor. Works great for me. Had to make a bracket to install, but they do sell them and I am just cheap and want to do it myself. Bracket made for front passenger side of T4R.
Set the tire deflators to 20 PSI; one small step forward. We will be testing out the new suspension this weekend. Good excuse to drive through the woods.
Some pics with the new suspension installed. Much better ride. No more braking nose dive and it's pretty leveled out. Now just have to drive 500 miles and have everything re-torqued. Very happy. Was done at Extreme Vehicle Builders in Danbury CT. I would definitely use them again if the need...
Good news from the shop. Lift and UCAs are installed. Just doing the alignment and will pick up tomorrow. Really psyched to see the new look and how it rides. Will post the pics tomorrow. This weekend we can test it out hopefully.
