I think it's great so far... I can get a lot closer in my garage without bashing my license plate :) I'm still waiting to see how well it works on the trail but I feel like any added visibility is a bonus.
I finally got around to installing a front camera in my taco so I can see over the hood when coming over a rise. I bought a wiring harness from a guy on the TW forum which made it so I can switch between the rear and front camera via a button and can turn either cam on anytime. I recommend this...
I work for a display mfg company, we just got in some slick 10" touchscreens. I'm going to build a custom "tablet" with a Raspberry PI /Android. I hope to get it all complete for under $100. I'll post pics once it's done.

If you head all the way up to lions head, and instead of taking a left into the lionhead campsite, you take right you go up about a half mile, taking the 2nd left there are a few great boondocking sites up there. Also if you stick to the left and head towards the rock slides there are some along...
Anyone else explore the Priest Lake area? I love it up there and know of a couple great camping spots. Last weekend I ventured up to Lions Head and did some exploring on the Lucky Creek Rd, I'd like to go further but my friend was getting a little nervous as the trail got narrower and the ruts...

@Sandpoint Steve If there is a weekend before that, and you want to go, I'd be game to pre-run it. Maybe even a day trip or a quick overnight. Goes for anyone that has time before then.

The last time I was up there (a few years ago) I'd say it's definitely doable. The road up is narrow, so if someone is coming down passing is a challenge in a wide vehicle.
Hope you can make it.
Thanks!

Plan on leaving Spokane Friday 7/13/18 at about noon. We will drive east on I90 until Saltese Montana. From there we'll exit and head west onto Silver Creek Rd, which quickly turns to gravel/fire maintenance road and begin climbing into the mountains. Once on silver creek rd, it's about an hour...
