Recently at the 4wp truck and jeep show I got this for free with my bumpers I am going to go a different route. It's for TJs and LJs but I am sure it can be made to work for whatever application you want it to with some mods more than happy to pass on to whomever needs it

Welcome from WA! I hear ya on the spiral! As hobbies go it can be as cheap or spendy as we make it. Best analogy I have is. To play football we certainly don't need pads or cleats but they do make it more bearable when ya get hit.

Yeppers, unless you want a purpose built rig. Fuel, family/friends, food and water! Bam all modded up! All joking aside. A recovery jack would be the one must have if no one else in your group has one. Don't forget they can be used as a light duty winch in a pinch! P.S. Welcome and grats on...
