those plastic clips are a pain in the butt. had "custody" of a 2001 3500 dually a few years back (belonged to the Chuck my Burb is named for) and those things broke 5 or 6 times over the course of a couple years.
Removed the chrome trim from the fender flares as well as the plastic valance from under the bumper so I can prep to mount the grill guard. Lookin' good.
As a side note...my father fancies himself a bit of a prepper, and loves USA made and touts it all the time, but then he buys all the prepper stuff and it's all Chinese made...
Yeah...ummm...that's part of the problem with the Made in the USA crowd - we no longer have the infrastructure for most of the items we consume. And that's speaking from the point of someone who works for a company that does domestically manufacture some items. I am all for it, but we've let it...
Not today but yesterday picked up a go rhino grill guard at the pic-a-part (Ogden, UT) for $55. It was already pulled and just sitting on the engine bay of an OBS burb like mine so I just grabbed it. I wasn't there after that but I'll take a win. Started cleaning it up. Details in the build...

Following happening now:
- Ordered full set of replacement exterior lights (admitting I was wrong)
- Went to the pic-a- part to get a grill (mine is broken through at one of the attachment tabs) but didn't find anything but picked up:
- Plastic interior panel that was cracked.
- Bunch of...
I ended up getting a 1998 K2500 with 160K miles...have a build thread with a few updates:

picked up set of 4 XD Badlands 18"x9" wheels for $100 for the set. Need to clean them up---chrome is a mess from road salt--then refinish before I mount and balance tires and figure out how much lift / body "work" I need for clearance.
