    2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport Build

Looks like a clean install. I think what you did is better than the ARB. It's easy to swap components in and out to make the system exactly what you need.

    Apple TV's Long Way Series

Yeah, pretty much all of that did happen. But, to me, that is what the show is about. To me, it's about the journey and the experiences encountered along the way, not so much about the mode of travel.

    Apple TV's Long Way Series

The one with the electric vehicles? I liked it. Not sure why ADV riders wouldn't like this particular series. It's not really any different other than the fact the vehicles are electrified.

    First Aid First

You're welcome! I just bought a few more kits,: (2) Auto Medic (one for my wife's car, one for my son's car) and (1) Moto Medic so I can move the Solo to my Camelbak where it can reside permanently. Oh, and you can pay with your HSA if you have one.

    Apple TV's Long Way Series

I watched Long Way Around and Long Way Up, haven't seen Long Way Down, yet. I watched more for the motorcycles so don't have a clue about the tents used. With regards to moto-camping, small and light are more important than with autos, SUVs, and trucks. Those adventure bikes are pigs, and...

    First Aid First

I have several My Medic kits and med packs, and they're all excellent. I keep an Advanced Recon kit (comes in a backpack) in my truck, a Solo in the tail bag of my motorcycle, and I keep a couple Hiker Medic packs easily accessible in an MTM dry box where they are quick to grab and throw in...

Hard to find yakima roadshower, whatndo you use?

The Waterport and homemade showers are super cool, but I don't want that weight hanging off my rack. My wife gifted me a RinseKit a couple Christmas' ago and its pretty slick. I carry a couple Aqua-Tainers and refill from those as necessary. I like things portable, because it usually makes...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Baja Designs lights are fantastic. The quality and output is amazing. They're not cheap, but they're the only lights I buy, which is probably why I drive 15 year old vehicles.

    2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport Build

Very nice! I love to see the integration of dual sport with offroading. I do the same with my DR-Z400S. I've had this bike for 13 years now and it's been great!

I want to see the Rams

I love the Power Wagons, and if I ever purchase a new vehicle it will probably be the one. And that's respectable fuel economy, particularly for a big truck! I recognize that area. Is that Hwy 18 as you approach the Blue Jay Cut-off near Lake Arrowhead? My parents had a vacation home on...

Ensenada in November for Baja 1000 - any border crossing advice?

Hello, everyone! This November I’m finally going to take time for myself and drive to Baja for the Baja 1000. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was a boy. The sad thing is my entire life I’ve lived only 200 miles from the start of most races! It’s been 25+ years since I’ve driven into...

Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

Nice rig, I dig those older Fords. A friend of mine bought a 4x4 long bed crew cab diesel circa 1995 and I coveted that truck!

    Off-road buds

I do, but they're not so little any more.

    2019 Ford Ranger XLT FX4

Your truck is looking good, but I think you should take all that money you saved on refrigerators and buy larger, more aggressive tires. :grinning:

    Cookware that stows well?

For sure, which is why they'll likely never show up in my camp kitchen. I thought I splurged when I bought my $20 Lodge cast iron!

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Nice! Is that at the campground? I was just there last week and it snowed on my son and I while fishing at Rock Creek Lake.

    Leaf-Pack Upgrade

Don't forget about National Spring and Triangle Suspension, too. I've had Nationals on my Ram for 13-14 years now and they work great.
