Been using one for years for my paddling and backpacking trips. Tomato sauce flakes sprinkled on most any meal wakes it up. Chili dehydrates well. So does very lean ground beef. Banana slices, apples....... For longer trips with limited refrigeration (or none at all), it's a good skill to play with.

And Bacon!

Oh man just got out of hospital after suffering from a poor diet. Doc took me off of all fried foods, even eggs. I dont know how I'm gonna survive without potatoes am red meat and spam even in small amounts. Luckily I dont have to fry spam to like it right out of the can.
