Do the early Tacomas deserve their reputation?
The 3VZE motor is also excellent in my experience. My 88 4runner had 312000 on the original untouched engine before any issues arose. And this happened just last year. The transmission went over 200K before needing rebuilding. Driving habits play a large role too. Do you drive it like you...- Offroadnutz

That whole area is awesome. Good for stargazing too, if that's your thing. I would highly recommend checking out Chloride Canyon. You cant go wrong there.- Offroadnutz
