Started riding on a XR 200. After that, moved to a CR 125R. Rode that until college, then get out of riding. Fast forward five years later, i bought a CR250R. First ride out, broke my femur and ankle on a MX track. Sold that in 2012 and haven't ridden since :(

Totally going to this! Would be coming from Houston, Texas, so that's a definite haul, but i assume, worth it. The only X Factor in my plan is if i'm invited to be on the Board of Directors for the company i'm on, as i believe the annual Board trip/vacation is during the same time.

@mellowdave @IronPercheron Thanks for the replies and info. Since it's my second time camping with him, first time expeditionary style ( very much a capable and experienced backpacker before kids), and to the beach, I think we are sticking to Boliver. Do you know if fires are allowed?

I was considering PINS, but with a 4 year old, maybe Boliver Penensila out east since it's closer to Houston.
