I retired in late-2018 and finally have the time to do all the traveling I wanted to do. After spending 42+ years in the corporate environment, enduing dull meetings and thinking about where else I could be - I now can do that. My primary passion (aside from my wife, 4 kids, and 6 grandkids) is fly (Tankara) fishing and exploring back roads and off road areas. I grew up camping and back packing with my family and have been all over the eastern Sierra mountains. I really enjoy taking off with just a day or so notice in my Jeep and going up to the Kern River or Bishop fishing areas. I have learned some of the back roads there and would love to explore more.

In joining Overland Bound I am looking forward to some off-road trips, great scenery, and easy going folks around the campfire in the evenings.and making some new friends.
