Hmmm, I’m good with Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening for a brewery. Maybe Sunday too, but that’s usually my garage day.

    NC Piedmont/CLT Meet-Up Planning

I’m interested in meet ups, talking shop, and going on adventures. Best meet up time for me is Sunday late morning to early afternoon. I live in Southend of CLT so really anything inside the 485 loop works

Wanted Charlotte, NC - want to buy vehicle - $6000

My last trip needed in a totaled vehicle, thankfully my and my dog walked away unscathed. I am looking for another rig, could be built up, but does not need to be. I’m open to options, I loved my Jeep xj for its size and wheelbase. Looking for anything similar and maybe a little bigger.

Sweet rig, and love the awning. I have a feeling we will be getting one for this winter. Does yours open 270 degrees? We have been using a pop-up with mosquito net for our kitchen and sun/rain shelter.

Averaging between 65-72mph, we average 18mpg. We honestly didn’t see a huge drop off in fuel economy, as long as we are not in a hurry. I am a pretty patient driver, I’m easy on the gas while accelerating, and try to maintain as much momentum as possible. The crosswind effect is not bad either...

The roof top tent was a game changer. Definitely doesn’t replace my love for a ground tent, but it is super convenient and always a head turner. It is wonderful in heavy rain.

I used phenolic rod to insulate the connection point between the fuel rail and the air intake. The air intake would get super hot from the catalytic converters right underneath, so the phenolic rod really helps to reduce the absorption of heat through the metal on metal hardware contact. I say...

Hello all, I am new to community and just putting out my first topic. My vehicle is a 2001 Jeep XJ, moderately outfitted and is my daily driver. Some of the more noticeable add ons include: ARB touring roof rack to support our ARB roof top tent, Rugged Ridge HD steering, Bilstein shocks, ACOS...
