I grew up in rural Pennsylvania where the only thing to do as a kid was play outside in the woods. Today I live in the capital city of Pennsylvania but nature is still only a 20 minute drive away.
After riding a dual-sport motorcycle for years, I attended Overland Expo East in Asheville, North Carolina in 2016 and decided I need a different vehicle. I wanted something I could travel with in any weather, go anywhere, and take my dog with me. After returning home from Overland Expo East I sold my motorcycle to a friend and traded my Honda Civic Sedan on a Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Since then I've been making some modifications and diving in to the overland lifestyle.
I traded the Toyota Tacoma for a 2017 Subaru Outback as it better suits my needs as a daily driver and still achieves everything I need a vehicle to do.
