    Water crossing fail

This is very sound advice, thank you for sharing. I had learned proper fording technique shortly after this “event” Actually I think I learned it from an Overland Bound YouTube video, if I remember correctly.

    Water crossing fail

It’s not a clickbait video as much it is a trailer. The short version has a link to the longer video that most people found boring. The video is also old and at the time I made it there was a popular trend of making a video with that song and “to be continued” with the video freezing at the...

    Water crossing fail

Thankfully we didn’t got out. The engine had shut off and it felt like it took forever to start (even though in the video you see it didn’t take too long). We were able to get out but the engine was never the same and it wasn’t long after that trip the engine quit as a result. At the end of...

    That does not sound good

I was flexing on a stump or rock or something. It decided to quit when I came down. Thank God it waited til then because I would’ve been beached with rocker damage otherwise

    That does not sound good

I’m pretty sure it was a combination of rust and time. Besides the obvious work required to the inner fender well/shock tower it really didn’t cause too much damage. The shop reconstructed and reinforced everything in about 2 days. When I picked it up I was really impressed with the welds and...

Let's see those rigs in action

Got a few pics driving from Grand Isle, VT to Rutland, VT cutting through GMNF and hitting one of the class 4 roads on the NEBDR.

    That does not sound good

Also I think a thread of “name that sound” would be a nice addition to the forums here. Anyone can feel free to share a clip of something on their rig breaking/ failing to keep the game going
