Married with 4 kids (2 girls and 2 boys). I am keen to give them an appreciation of the great outdoors and regularly camp with them in places like scotland, wales, peak district and other off the beaten track locations.
I have been with my wife since we were 17 (although we did not get married until we were 34) and we are a great match. My wife supports me in my outdoor activities and was supportive of me doing almost a 2 week trip to spain whilst she looked after the four kids and worked full time. I am a lucky guy - although the next trip I intend to take them with me.
I work in the National Health Service and am one of the few people I know who love my job.
My rig is a land rover discovery 3, 2007. I love it and it has yet to face anything that has stopped it. In fact, the challenges so far have been for me as the driver rather than the truck. I have a cut down land rover expedition roof rack, oz tent RV4 (along with tag along to turn it into an 8 man tent). Sump guard and rock & tree sliders. I am going to build a drawer system for the back as well as add a split charge system and second battery. Really keen to learn from experienced overlanders andhelp where I can.
