If you haven't already, I mounted my BoH badges on magnet paper, so i can stick it to the jeep for car shows or whatever, which leaves me room to put my OB badge right under the trail rated badge on the driver side panel. The rest of the time my BoH badges are stuck to my gun safe.

I'm looking to get started in HAM as well, I picked up one of those little Baofeng UVR5+ guys for my emergency camp pack, I think I would rather learn to do it properly and legally. Thanks for the info, people in this thread. See ya out there! (hopefully hear some of you too sometime.)
