Spring/summer trips are booked, kicking it off with a non-camping visit to Arizona. Here’s hoping all the bad mojo from 2024 - the killer storms, injuries, wildfires and excessive heat - are in the rear view mirror. Hoorah!

Back from a long holiday weekend of camping with friends. Last trip for the year, but plans are in motion for 2025 adventures!
Nights are getting cooler, trees are red, gold and orange - heading out for a bit of autumn camping before it gets downright cold. Ain’t life grand?

Highlights: Secret alpine lakes, wildlife (bison, moose, bears, eagles & more), crazy rock scrambles, one sprained ankle and a nearly fatal windstorm. Sometimes the unexpected challenges are the adventure.
Backtracking towards Wyoming to spend a few days stalking wildlife in Yellowstone.
Whew! Looking forward to cooler temperatures in the eastern Sierra Nevada Range. It’s been a warm summer trip thus far…
Warm and a bit hazy here at Mt. Rainier, but still doing some great hikes!
Spending a few extra days at Glacier National Park due to the wildfires and evacuation of Jasper, Alberta. My heart goes out to Canada!

Back home again - 34 days, 6560 miles, one sandstorm and many beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Time to regroup and prep for the next adventure!
Pausing for a few days in Arkansas- Hot Springs and searching for diamonds. Just a few days ago I was post holing in hip deep snow at 10K feet!
The Grand Canyon never disappoints - the elk visited my campsite every day. Moving to New Mexico today as I begin a slow journey eastward. -
