March 2024 Mojave National Preserve Trail Guardian event.
Once NPS finalizes the projects, two Rally Points will come out with meeting/base camp locations. That should be within two weeks.
We will have at least two projects available, but it will all depend on how the RSVP list goes.
Project #1 Arrive in camp by evening March 21; project work March 22-24
Project #2 Arrive in camp by evening of March 22; project work is March 23.
Project #3 (if we have enough people), Arrive in camp by evening March 22, project work March 23.
Also, to have a decent raffle on Saturday night, we need donations of raffle prizes. If you can donate something, or solicit a donation from a vendor local to you, please do so and let Kent know.

- Identifying dispersed campsites on the West and Center of the Preserve. This will be much like the October ‘23 event. Barclay Osborn will be the lead, and hopefully we can get the group leaders that we had last time.
Project #2 Arrive in camp by evening of March 22; project work is March 23.
- Helping plant Joshua Trees in the Cima Dome burn scar. This is great for families/kids.
Project #3 (if we have enough people), Arrive in camp by evening March 22, project work March 23.
- Go to Soda Lake and erase some more tracks from illegal off-trail driving. This is another one that’s good for kids to help out.
