    “Oldman Tan” 1st Gen Sequoia

Hey guys good evening and Merry Christmas! I am looking into putting 285/75R16 tires on my 2003 Sequoia. The wheels I bought are zero spaced so there is room there. I installed IBA upper arms and 2in ARB lift. If you would please give your opinion on weather these 33’s would fit this rig and if...

    2003 Toyota Sequoia HAM Install

My leg rests against it. I had the same setup in my Tacoma. The only reason I do not want it under the seat is because I wanted easy access if needed. No other reasons but that. It works for me.

    2003 Toyota Sequoia HAM Install

Wow those are three gigantic pictures. It feels good to have HAM capability again in the rig. Going out for some exploring near Idyllwild soon and I always like to have a way to communicate long range. Setting this up in the Sequoia took about two hours. After doing it a few times it was rather...

Sweet! You have a good lookin rig. I’m about to pick up an 03 with 200k on the odo. I’ve been to Brute Force for my Tacoma and I’m planning on going back for the Sequoia. What skids do you have that fit with Billy’s bumpers?

    HAM interference with fog lights?

Cool let me know how it goes. If it works out well I might be wiling to put the LED's back in. I have been running the FTM-300 for about a year now and I have no complaints. The digital works great, APRS works great, and just like your 400 the Yaesu color scheme is so vibrant!!

    HAM interference with fog lights?

That would probably work perfectly. I just put the stock halogens back in and I have no more issues. The Baja Designs I run are higher quality and they cause no interference. Thanks for the suggestion! N6TRD

    HAM interference with fog lights?

Yup it’s true! The radio works so much better with the halogens. I was on a QSO yesterday on the Papa system in SoCal yesterday and I explained my situation to an old timer. A man who actually was the founder of the Papa repeater system. He said he learned something new because he had no idea...
