OVERLAND EXPO WEST 2019 / 3RD ANNUAL CONVOY 40 Meet-up
This years Overland Expo will be a little different. We will be leaving very early Thursday morning to get there before the gates open to ensure our camping area.
Overview:
Thursday will be a day of traveling, settling in to camp and meeting up with old friends.
Friday, the Expo officially opens up to the public and that day will reserved for checking out the expo. For those have purchase the Overland Experience Package, you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll be classes. If it is your first time at the Expo, I recommend just purchasing the Weekend Pass and Camping and then take the classes the following year once you experience the expo. If you do or have purchased the Experience Package I also recommend NOT filling your day with to many classes. The classes are all over the park, so lots of walking and the class start times do not account for the distance. (people bring their mountain bike to get around).
Saturday afternoon will be reserved for a local trail run.
Tickets are on sale now for weekend pass and camping at the expo: Click Here >>
Our Convoy 40 Logo was created by our good friend and Overland Bound member Ryan Hall, please be sure to visit him at the Goose Gear Booth.

A friend and I are both going. We will either meet up near Victorville on Thursday morning, or meet you guys at the 40 & hwy 95 in Arizona if we decide to head out Wednesday night.
We’re going to Overland Expo West, from Irvine. Where’s the convoy meetup location?
I am coming from Newport.
This will be a great time. Can’t wait for the overload on my eyes.
I will be there with epic amounts of coffee onboard!
We’re heading over on the 16th and will *try* to join the convoy, if we leave from Irvine (we may be in central coast area, not sure yet). In any case, we’ have tickets for 3 days camping.
Not sure when Corrie and Michael need me on the ground in Flagstaff but I’ll probably head out from LA Wednesday and may stay somewhere on the way with the RTT. I’ll be in the Audi SQ5 so not sure how road I can go but if anyone knows any sweet spots to wake up somewhere over the halfway point from LA, let me know. Cheers Baz
@Bazzaj The spot at the following coordinates is an epic overlook in the gold rich mountains, between Oatman and Kingman AZ, on the famous Route 66…and it appears to be roughly halfway-ish from LA. Best Luck,

Hello all. I’m heading down from Oregon. I’ll do my best to meet the convoy on Hwy 40 somewhere. Keep a nose out for the smell of fresh pine
…that’ll be me. 🙂
Would love to convoy early, but I’m leaving after work on Thursday at about 3 PM from Yermo/Barstow area if anybody wants to travel the I40 East together.
my brother will be coming in from Costa Mesa, but him and his wife don’t get off work until 8am on Thursday, how can we join (2 rigs) the group when we get to the camp?
Is everyone camping at expo or out in flag?
