After a while some will be going into Uwharrie and hitting the trails! Everyone is welcome but no one is obligated. (More trail information below see "RALlY POINT DETAIILs) Around lunch we will be having lunch @ ART LILLEY MEMORIAL CAMPGROUND, please bring your own food, and means of cooking it. BYOB. TRAIL INFORMATION:
Uwharrie has loads of trails ranging from a basic dirt road to full on rock crawling. There are trails for every skill level and vehicle capability. Please do not feel pressured into pushing your vehicle beyond its limits. The rule of thumb at Uwharrie is if you are worried about hurting your vehicle stay away from the 3 D's (Dickey Bell Trail, Daniel Trail, Dutch John Trail)
Eldorado Outpost has free air for those who wish to air down.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT OFFROADING: Uwharrie National Park has loads of things to do. There is plenty of hiking trails of varying difficulty, Badin Lake for swimming, fishing, and kayaks, and a couple campgrounds. Eldorado Outpost will have more information as well as Google.
