Lockwood Creek to Miller Jeep Trail
I've never done this trail, but from what I read online, minimum requirements indicate at least 33" tires with a small lift (2" or greater?), and at least one locker. Videos of most of the trail look easy, but a couple of hard spots with substantial rocks and some v-rutting, and a stream crossing.

Rally Point Details:
Plan is to take off directly from the West LA OB Meetup this Sat, Sept 8, which usually ends around 10:30-11 timeframe. Google Maps says it will take 1.5-2h to get to Lockwood Creek Trail. If you don't have a National Forest Adventure Pass, you'll need to pick one up in Lake of the Woods or Lockwood Valley ($5/day, available at most local stores like 7-11 or mini markets, or order online ahead of time) then head out Lockwood Creek Trail until it intersects with the Miller Jeep Trail. Online reports indicate about 4 hours of trail time; depending on traffic and actual departure time, we should make it up with a couple hours of sunlight to spare. There is dispersed comping at the top of the mountain with 1 vault toilet, but no other facilities.
You're free to camp the night, or return down the mountain the same day. There's two ways: back down the Miller Jeep Trail, or down an easy back road that drops you in Hungry Valley SVRA.
Rally Point locations below are for the OB West LA Meetup and the second is where I believe the turnoff for Lockwood Creek Trail is. GPX path is a merge of the two trails; since they're not my tracks and I haven't done the trail before, treat with reasonable suspicion.
