Rally Point Details:

Meet up is at 8am at the Mobil station on exit 15 in Coeur d’Alene. The drive over to Superior, Montana takes a bit more than an hour. There is a Pilot station in Superior to fill up, and meet anyone who lives close to there.

We met the owner of the Gildersleeve mine, and he is willing to give us a tour of the 1930’s era mine. It is a short 3 mile side trip. He is a very interesting man. He and his wife live there from June to October.

The route is very skinny and twisted. We will cross the St. Joe river on our way to Red Ives and then to Table Camp on Surveyors Peak. The camp is situated in a bowl, and has a vault toilet.

We will also take a side trip to the Conrad Lookout, about another 8 miles of steep climbs.

We will work our way to Avery Idaho, where we will take Moon pass over to Wallace Idaho and I90.

I am working on getting a map made on Gaia. I’m learning. Please be patient.
