Rally Point Details:

This 4 day trip will take us through a portion of the western side of the Canadian Rockies in British Columbia before crossing over and through Banff, and on to the Ghost River Road in Alberta on the Eastern side of the Canadian Rockies. Well then head through the spray wilderness and down the forestry trunk road on the western Alberta side of the Rockies where will camp one last night and then make our way back to Coeur d'Alene via dirt and pavement.

Terrain=mostly pavement but a lot of dirt, and some rock, but we could see any mixture of terrain to include mud, snow and ice. Please be prepared

Weather=Canada in October so be prepared for anything, but especially colder nights. Some sort of heater would be encouraged but definitely a good cold weather sleeping bag and clothes.

Required gear/equipment
Positive attitude and willingness to assist others!!!
Passports or other acceptable form of identification to cross the border into and out of Canada
Bear Spray
GMRS radio or HAM able to communicate on GMRS frequencies
Solid recovery points front and rear
Dust lights (preferably amber and mounted above your taillights)
Navigation device with offline maps downloaded and route imported (I can help you if you need)
Clothes/gear for all weather (especially snow, rain, mud)
Full size spare

Recommended
Recovery straps (kinetic rope)
Shovel
Traction aids (recovery boards)
Heater
Ability to air down AND up
Tire repair kit

We will be crossing the boarder so ENSURE YOU HAVE NO PROHIBITED ITEMS IN YOUR VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY GUNS unless you have the proper paperwork/approval. If you're detained, the group will proceed without you.

Trip route will be uploaded closer to the departure
