Join the South Bay Overland Bound crew on a weekend trip to the Lassen National Forest, where we'll explore its unique volcanic terrain, dense forests, clear alpine lakes, and beautiful meadows. We'll begin with the iconic Peligreen Jeepway in the Ishi Wilderness, navigating through rugged canyons, volcanic plateaus, and diverse ecosystems of oak woodlands, chaparral, and conifer forests. From the Peligreen Jeepway, we'll head southeast, exploring trails along the historic Pacific Crest Trail. We'll enjoy the scenic views of the forest's diverse landscapes while discovering some of California’s most significant historical and cultural sites, reflecting its indigenous heritage.
If you're interested in joining us for this trip, please RSVP. After signing up, you'll receive a message containing additional information and a confirmation. Upon confirmation, you'll be added to the trip's group message.
