Rally Point Details:
So, the meetup will be characterized by enjoying the great outdoors together, good conversations around the campfire and some education regarding overlanding skills. We will continue our great tradition and have useful workshops again.
For all those who could not be present last time and as a reminder some important information:
- The location is a small, simple campground directly at a small creek. It is located approx. 1.5h drive south of Frankfurt/ Main, Germany.
- Basic sanitary facilities are available.
- Firewood for the campfire will be there.
- The meetup is designed as a self-catering meeting. A grill will of course be available and charcoal will be provided. Please bring what you like to eat and drink, also your own grill if you like, Dutch Oven, etc.
- For breakfast I will try to organize the bread service again.
- Number of attending rigs is limited – please register by RSVP in the RP. All OB members are welcome and this is not limited to Mid Europe members.
- Attending fee to cover costs will remain the same, so 25 Euro per person. I kindly ask you to bring this to the meetup in cash (preferably counted), please. Thank you.
- We will clean up the site together Sunday before departure and leave it better than we found it.
- Please be careful when driving on the site especially if the ground is wet and do not leave tire. Stay with the vehicles on solid ground. If your vehicle loses operating fluids (which is not good but could happen), please remember to bring a cover/cardboard and put it underneath.
- For those who bring dogs: the dogs must behave, obey (there is forest around) and that you clean up after your dogs goes without saying.
- Let´s behave as always in such a way that we can come back next year, please.

Saturday, 10th May 2025
Breakfast all together
Different round table talks/ workshops throughout the day. This year we will deal with
(1) Staying fit on a trip with @B.Kuehn
(2) Outdoor ethics with @XC70_Overlander
(3) different pneumatic/ compressor setups with @El-Dracho (bring your own setups, ideas and questions)
So, please bring your questions, equipment and ideas on these topics and look forward to an informative time.
