Rally Point Details:

Day 1- Friday night we will be at Blue Lake, Montana, which has silty white beaches and crisp blue water, a great place for paddle boards. Friday you can travel solo all highway or convoy with others starting at Libby MT with the final 30 miles dirt to Blue Lake. Do not attempt to even put a wheel in the water when maneuvering on the beach near the lake (ask me how I know). Silt is not sand!

Day 2- we will be departing at 9:30am and heading for Polbridge MT to have lunch and treats there. This will be a shorter drive day and we will grab a spot on the Flat Head river bordering Glacier National Park. Just to be clear we will not be entering the park officially but one could do do a day trip to Kintla or Bowman Lake inside the park. We will get into camp early as this river spot is a gorgeous place to put our chairs into the water to have fun and relax.

Day 3- 8:30am- we will make the climb through the remote area of the 10 Lakes wilderness, which includes some rocky shelf-road sections and pop out near Eureka MT, where we will fuel up as needed. From there, we will hit the highway alongside Lake Koocanusa and stop at Kootenai Falls to check out the falls and suspension bridge there. They have a fun little snack shop as well with milkshakes and treats. We will take the scenic route south on Hwy 56 passing by Pend Oreille and over to Sandpoint where we will part our separate ways respectively.

This is a great trip for kids, families, and dogs. With dogs please make sure that they are restrained away from campers’ food prep areas and during meal times so that everyone can eat in peace, thanks for understanding.

You will need to pack in and out everything and bring your own pooper :-)
