Rally Point Details:

Day 1 (Fri) It's a 240 mile trip to Bethel ridge where we'll camp just over 6000'. If you can't leave Friday at noon, I'll have a couple points we can meet up with on Saturday (still a 4hr drive from Spokane)

Camp 1 will be on Bethel Ridge. (Several options)

Day 2 (Sat) 146 miles. we'll run section 2 of the WABDR Alternate (harder) this will begin with what is considered the most technical section of the entire WABDR, Bethel Ridge road. We'll drop to 2000' before climbing again to 5000' in the first 30 miles. Then we'll air up for a 60 mile section of highway from Ellensberg to Cashmere to bypass section 3. At which point we'll fuel up and jump back off-road again on section 4 of the WABDR and climb Chumstick mountain.

Camp 2 will be near Chumstick mountain summit 5810'. (Limited options, may have to continue towards Sugarloaf to find a place big enough)

Day 3 (Sun) 247 miles. We'll make a quick stop at Sugarloaf fire lookout (5700'), then jump back on the WABDR section 4 and follow it up over 6000' again and come down into the back side of Chelan via Slide ridge road.

All said we will climb 44,387' and drop 44726' of elevation over this 650 mile route

I will send a direct message about a week or so prior to those who have RSVP'd as going. We usually do a Potluck style meal on Saturday night for those interested (helps get us all together for a meal) participation is stricktly optional.

One note, while 4 legged friends are absolutely welcome to join, we do ask that we keep them teathered away from any meal prep or where others are eating especially during the potluck we want to avoid any issues, and keep our focus on enjoying each others company and getting out

Required:
Dust Lights (Message me if you don't have any and want a somewhat inexpensive solution that is removable when not needed)
Recovery Points (Front and Rear)
GMRS Radio
Good Attitude
Pups leashed/teathered away from food during meals.

Hightly encouraged to bring
Recovery Gear
Shovel
Rain/snow gear
Warm Clothes (Spring is bipolar, especially in the mountains)
Good Footwear(may be in snow/mud depending on weather)
Small bundle of firewood (assuming no fire ban)
Water (enough for drinking and drowning fires)
